No 1 is so bad he is a Hawthorns legend: Five worst-ever Wolves managers
2. Tommy Docherty
Docherty was somewhat of an icon in his earlier management career having won the FA Cup at Manchester United and League Cup at Chelsea, however his spell at Wolves practically ended what was a great post-playing career.
He joined Wolves in 1984 after their relegation from the top-flight but was unable to halt the slide as he oversaw a second relegation in-a-row as the West Midlands club dropped into the third tier.
In that season, Docherty somehow managed to survive a 21-game winless run as they finished rock bottom of the Second Division.
He was sacked after just a year, winning 18 per cent of games which is the lowest of any Wolves manager in history to have taken charge of more than 15 fixtures.
