£2m attacker not even most hopeless of bunch in five worst Leeds signings under Radrizzani

4. Cameron Borthwick-Jackson

Signed from: Manchester United – Loan fee of £1million (approx) – Appearances: 8

The capture of the Manchester United left-back was widely hailed as a smart piece of business when he was signed on loan back in August. It soon proved to be a wretched investment as the 21-year-old was soon frozen out of the senior squad before his season-long loan was ripped up in January, the second consecutive season in which Borthwick-Jackson had been forced to return to his parent club early following a similarly chastening experience at Wolves. The youngster did not get much of a go under Thomas Christiansen, but, when he did, he looked a shadow of the bright young thing catapulted into the United first team under Louis van Gaal.
