It’s hard not to feel sorry for Hoops winger Jonny Hayes, who suffered an ankle injury blow after a first-half collision with Josh Meekings.
The 30-year-old attacker had just got his Celtic career started after scoring his first goal and looked set to become a big player in the second-half of the season, and now he is facing the possibility of a spell on the sidelines.
Rodgers’ problems on the wings are racking up and he will be hoping that the Ireland international won’t be out for too long, as the Hoops are already without Patrick Roberts injured for a while yet.
