The Premier League’s all-time top scorer, only Leeds and Everton have had more pain inflicted upon them than Tottenham during the English legend’s career.
However, while most renowned for his time at home-town club Newcastle, half of his goals against Spurs came while at Blackburn Rovers, as he established himself as one of the brightest young talents in England, while he also scored once for Southampton at the very beginnings of his career.
Despite having netted so many goals, his personal moment of pride was the hat trick netted for Rovers in a 3-2 win over Spurs, with his 90th minute strike earning him the match ball and Blackburn the three points after Tottenham had battled from 2-0 down to 2-2 with minutes to play.
