Four domestic rivals reportedly after 23-year-old: Why Leeds must join race to solve problem area

Taylor gone, Denton ready?

With Charlie Taylor joining Premier League side Burnley this summer after rejecting contract talks at Elland Road, Leeds are left with just Tyler Denton as a recognised left-sided defender.

But the 21-year-old has made just three senior appearances for the side, after making a goalscoring debut against Luton Town. Subsequent appearances against Cambridge and Sutton proved less successful.

A left-back is needed then, and Obita’s Championship experience should see him become the ideal candidate to fill the void left by Taylor.
