‘Friedkin announcements imminent at Everton amid Euro plan under David Moyes’
The Friedkin Group [TFG] are set to make a series of imminent announcements as David Moyes spearheads the beginning of a new era at Everton, according to The i Paper.
With the Toffees walking towards relegation in the first half of the season, a difficult decision was made to part ways with Sean Dyche at Everton and appoint the former West Ham figure.
It has turned out to be a genius decision, with the team now 15 points clear of the drop zone and unbeaten in seven Premier League matches, ignoring an FA Cup defeat to Bournemouth.
With safety in the division all but sealed now, supporters and the hierarchy alike can start thinking about the future, and not just about the exciting move to Everton’s new home at Bramley-Moore Dock.
A total of 13 senior players, including Dominic Calvert-Lewin, Orel Mangala, Abdoulaye Doucoure and Ashley Young are either out of contract or returning to their parent clubs in the summer.
This is destined to help alleviate some of the pressure surrounding PSR, and in addition to this, Angus Kinnear is set to replace Everton director of football Kevin Thelwell at the end of the season.

The Friedkin Group set to make key changes at Everton
According to i News [3 March], a series of announcements is expected from TFG as the new owners look to finalise a new executive structure with the same beliefs as them.
Given TFG’s exploits with AS Roma in Serie A and European competitions, the owners want to bring the same ideals to Merseyside, and that will start with a “transformational” summer towards “ambitious” goals, sources believe.
The numerous changes are expected to begin with Thelwell’s exit, who is in a “business-as-usual” role until his time with the Toffees comes to an end in the summer.

David Moyes can lead the Toffees into new era
Moyes had already proven himself as a Premier League manager before taking over the difficult role at Goodison Park, quickly silencing any doubters.
Jarrad Branthwaite, a player who has gathered interest from Man United and Real Madrid, signing a new deal would be an incredibly key part of Everton’s summer transition under the new owners.
Of course, Mangala, Jack Harrison, Carlos Alcaraz, Armando Broja and Jesper Lindstrom all departing at the end of their loan spells would diminish the squad size quite significantly.
However, with TGF ready to open their war chest and invest in their new club, the hope amongst supporters will be that a new calibre of player will be attracted to the Toffees’ development.
It is an extremely exciting time to be an Everton supporter, though with so many changes set to be made in just a few months, there is also reason to be a little scared.
