‘Fuming’ Conte could quit Tottenham this summer after source’s update in last 24 hrs – pundit
Antonio Conte will be “fuming” as Tottenham look set to lose out on signing Adama Traore.
That’s according to former Leeds United stopper Paddy Kenny, speaking exclusively to Football Insider as Spurs continue their search for a first signing of the month.
A recruitment source has told Football Insider on Thursday (27 January) that Traore is set to pen a loan-to-buy deal with Barcelona after they agreed a £25m-plus purchase option with Wolves.

This comes after Tottenham agreed a fee with Wolves last Friday of £20m plus £2.75m of add-ons.
Kenny insists Conte will not quit Spurs this month but warned he could depart in the summer if transfers fail to materialise.
“Conte is going to be fuming,” Kenny told Football Insider correspondent Ben Wild.
“Traore is another player they have lost out on when it looked nailed on that he would sign.
“I’m pretty sure he won’t leave over this if no one else comes in. He will wait until the summer, I think.
“Then he can see what kind of business they can do then because the January window is notoriously hard to do business in.
“No offence to Tottenham but Barcelona are a bigger and better side and I can understand why Traore wants to go there.
“But it looked done. That is what will annoy Conte. He still doesn’t know if he can trust his club to deliver a transfer.
“I think he will wait until the summer but if we see the same again, he will go.”

Tottenham are still yet to make a January signing despite Conte’s pleas for reinforcements.
The transfer window slams shut on Monday (31 January) at 11pm.
