Gabriel Jesus tipped to snub Arsenal and sign for Tottenham after ‘really interesting’ update – expert
Tottenham could mount a title challenge next season if they beat Arsenal to the signing of Gabriel Jesus.
That is according to Spurs insider John Wenham, who regularly breaks news about the club on his Lilywhite Rose social media channels.
On Monday (23 May) The Telegraph reported Tottenham are poised to compete with Arsenal for Jesus this summer.

The 25-year-old is set to leave the Etihad this summer with Erling Haaland due to arrive from Borussia Dortmund.
Tottenham confirmed their place in next season’s Champions League by beating Norwich on Sunday (22 May).
Wenham claims this could be the deciding factor when Jesus is deciding who to sign for.
“This is really interesting. The whole thing with Jesus going to Arsenal in the first place was because they were going to be in the Champions League,” Wenham told Football Insider correspondent Ben Wild.
“Now, hold on a minute, we have got into the top four, we are in London as well, we’re in the Champions League, who do you want to play for?
“If he is available then he is someone we should be pursuing. We haven’t signed a backup striker for years.
“This is a guaranteed Premier League player who can play anywhere in the attack. For me, it’s a no brainer.
“If we want to push next season and not just push for top four again, push fr the title, that’s the signing we should be making.”

Jesus scored eight goals in the 2021-22 Premier League season.
He also registered eight assists.
