Gareth Bale: Rangers are perfect fit as superstar deal tipped on one condition – pundit
Rangers would be the perfect fit for Gareth Bale if they can work out an appropriate wage package, according to Danny Mills.
Speaking exclusively to Football Insider, the ex-Premier League and England defender insisted Bale is going to have to take a pay cut if he wants to continue playing beyond the end of the season.
The 32-year-old is out of contract at Real Madrid at the end of the current campaign.

Spanish outlet Sport reported on Thursday (14 April) that Rangers are one of a number of teams who have sounded out the forward about a potential summer move.
Bale wants to find a new club to stay in shape if Wales qualify for the World Cup in Qatar in November.
They will face either Scotland or Ukraine on 5 June for a place in the finals where they will join England, USA and Iran in group B.
“If he wants to play in the World Cup he’s going to have to find a club,” Mills told Football Insider‘s Connor Whitley.
“Without a doubt, he’s going to have to drop wages. They’ve done it with Ramsey and have found some money somewhere.
“It will depend on what he wants in terms of wages and how desperate he is to play football.
“That would be a decent level for him to keep his fitness up but not be tested week in, week out. He’ll be a star there.

“In principle, it works for a lot of footballing reasons it’s just whether they can do a financial deal.
“He’s going to have to play and for football reasons it makes sense but he’s going to have to make sure the money side of it is right too.”
In other news, Rangers have been tipped to accept a £16million Alfredo Morelos offer after a source’s reveal.
