Gianluca Scamacca tipped to shine for West Ham after chief’s ‘huge’ reveal – pundit
Paul Robinson has backed Gianluca Scamacca to be a big success for West Ham next season.
Speaking exclusively to Football Insider, the former Spurs and England number one said the 23-year-old can go from strength to strength under David Moyes and his staff.
According to Sky Sports (25 July), the Hammers have agreed personal terms with Scamacca after a £35.5million proposal was accepted by Sassuolo.

The striker is expected to fly into London on Monday ahead of his medical on Tuesday.
Sassuolo chief executive Giovanni Carnevali told Corriere dello Sport (24 July) that the Italy international “will do great things” in the Premier League as he is “a huge talent.”
When asked by Football Insider for his thoughts on the imminent arrival, Robinson said: “Moyes likes a target man.
“He will obviously be a big threat from set plays.
“Scamacca is a Moyes type of player. I think Moyes will improve him as well. Yes, he scored a lot of goals last season but there is areas of his game that can be improved.

“Scamacca gives Moyes an opportunity to play [Michail] Antonio out wide. It also gives him the opportunity to play a front two which he has not had.
“I think he [Scamacca] will fit in well at West Ham. It will be good for the fans to finally see a deal going over the line without weeks and weeks of speculation. It looks as if they are going to get this one done though.”
