'More of a goal threat' – Rangers fans react as 22-year-old seals Ibrox switch
Rangers fans have taken to social media to react after the club announced the signing of 22-year-old Sean Goss on loan from QPR on Wednesday afternoon.
The deal was announced on the Light Blue’s official Twitter account.
As he is a player that not many fans have watched play, most are hoping that he turns out to be a decent signing who can help the Gers in their battle for second place with Aberdeen in the Scottish Premiership.
One claimed that the versatile defensive midfielder could post “more of a goal threat” than Jordan Thompson.
Here are some of the best reactions from Twitter to Goss’s signing:
Goss joined QPR last January for a fee of £500,000 from Manchester United, after having never played a first-team game for the English giants.
His stay at Loftus Road hasn’t been that successful either, playing only six games in the year he was there.
The player is looking for a chance to kick-start his career and as the deal only last until the end of the season he will be out to prove a point to QPR boss Ian Holloway.
Goss will soon join up with his new team-mates in Florida, where they are on their winter break before taking on Atletico Mineiro and Corinthians in the Florida Cup.
His first domestic match could be against Fraserburgh in the Scottish Cup on the 21st of January.
