Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola has assured Mauricio Pochettino that he has no plans to sign Dele Alli this summer.
As quoted by Goal correspondent Sam Lee on his personal Twitter account on Wednesday, Guardiola advised his Tottenham counterpart to stay calm regarding the club’s reported pursuit of one his most prized assets.
Guardiola: Mauricio Pochettino has to stay calm. Dele Alli will be his player next season. I am pretty sure about that. We don't want him.

Barcelona legend Xavi, a former colleague of Guardiola, had revealed to the Sun earlier this week that Guardiola could be interested in making a summer move for the high-flying 21-year-old this summer.
The Express, meanwhile, claimed back in February that the Manchester City chief was weighing up a potential world-record swoop for the Tottenham sensation, who has an incredible 20 goals and 11 assists this season.
But Guardiola’s fresh comments should finally put to bed the rumours that Alli could be heading to the Etihad this summer, much to the delight of the White Hart Lane faithful.
Tottenham will be determined to do their utmost to retain the services of the England international for the long-term, having tied him down to a new six-year deal at the start of the season.

In other Tottenham transfer news, the bookies have revealed that this Southampton ace is the second most-likely player to join Tottenham this summer after Wilfried Zaha.
