Hadi Sacko delivers Twitter verdict on Leeds letting slip two points
By Alex Stevens
Hadi Sacko revealed on Twitter he was “gutted” at Leeds failing to secure all three points against Wigan on Tuesday night.
Garry Monk’s side were a goal ahead for two thirds of the Championship clash but failed to hold out for a win as it ended in a 1-1 draw.
On-loan Sporting Lisbon winger Sacko has been a key attacking player for the Yorkshire giants during their improved run of results over the last month.
He supplied his third assist of the season when he crossed for Chris Wood to lash home the opening goal 29 minutes into the Elland Road match against Wigan.
But Shaun MacDonald grabbed a stoppage-time equaliser, which meant that Garry Monk’s side remain in 13th in the Championship table.
Sacko took to his personal Twitter account in the aftermath of the match to explain his feelings but ended on a high note as he claimed the team was on the “right way”.
In other Leeds news, a senior player is destined to leave the club in January.
