Hadi Sacko posts Twitter message after Leeds win v Bristol City

Hadi Sacko has expressed his delight on Twitter after Leeds secured a 2-1 win against Bristol City at Elland Road on Tuesday night.

Winger Sacko started the game for the home team as goals from striker Chris Wood and playmaker Pablo Hernandez helped them seal all three points.

The win in front of their own supporters also meant that the Whites ended their run of back-to-back defeats as they hope to continue their promotion charge.

Huddersfield and Cardiff picked up victories against Leeds in recent weeks but a positive display saw them overcome a tough Lee Johnson side.

After the game, Sacko delivered this message to supporters as posted on his personal Twitter account.

“Great night,” said Sacko. “Very happy to be back in the team and to end the game with three points.”

Winger Sacko has played 32 games in all competitions for the Yorkshire club this term, scoring two goals and providing four assists – all of which have come during his 28 Championship games.

As a result of that win, Leeds remain fifth in the Championship table on 57 points from their 32 games, six points ahead of seventh-placed Norwich and eight points behind the final automatic places.

Garry Monk’s side have only lost on two occasions on home soil since November and they will be looking to continue that run as they aim to secure a top six place.

They will now travel to Mick McCarhy’s Ipswich on Saturday, before hosting Yorkshire neighbours Sheffield Wednesday the following week.
