Hadi Sacko posts Twitter message ahead of Leeds clash against Blackburn
By Amir Mir
Hadi Sacko has stated that Leeds are “ready” for their Championship clash against Blackburn Rovers at Ewood Park on Wednesday night.
Winger Sacko will be looking to start the game against the struggling Championship outfit after missing the last three league matches.
The 22-year-old did come on as a substitute when Garry Monk’s side were humiliated against non-league outfit Sutton at the weekend.
The Whites were beaten 1-0 and as a result knocked out of the FA Cup at the fourth-round stage.
Now, Sacko will be hoping to help him team recover from that defeat as he posted this message to supporters on his personal Twitter account.
“Match day,” said Sacko.”We are ready.”
Sacko has played 29 games in all competitions for Leeds, scoring two goals and supplying four assists.
All of those goals and assists have come in the Championship as he last found the back of the net against Preston North End on Boxing Day.
The Frenchman will be now looking to help Monk’s side clinch a valuable three points in Lancashire, knowing that a win can further enhance their chances of finishing in the top six.
Monk’s side are currently in fourth place on 51 points from 28 games, nine points ahead of seventh-placed Sheffield Wednesday.
The last time the Whites were on the road in the league, they were beaten 3-2 by their Yorkshire rivals Barnsley.
