Harry Kane mocks Piers Morgan on Twitter after Tottenham beat Arsenal

By Richard Parks
Tottenham goal king Harry Kane delivered an amusing Twitter putdown of celebrity Arsenal fan Piers Morgan after spearheading his team to Saturday’s north London derby victory.
Spurs earned bragging rights with a 1-0 victory at Wembley in the Premier League to climb to third in the table and extend their advantage over their bitter rivals to seven points.
Kane, 24, netted the decisive goal with a brilliant header early in the second-half in a match which was totally dominated by the home side.
It was the striker’s 32nd goal in 33 matches in all competitions this season and his 23rd from 26 Premier League games.
Morgan called out Kane on his personal Twitter account prior to the match by claiming the best striker in Europe would be on show at Wembley as he pointed out that Arsenal record signing Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang had scored eight more goals than the Spurs man in the last three seasons, with 100 compared to 92.
However, his message on social media backfired as Kane responded after the match on Twitter with a mocking one-word reply of “thanks” accompanied by a blushing emoji.

Spurs’ recent form, which includes a 2-0 win over Man United and a 2-2 draw with Liverpool at Anfield, drew praise from their Argentine manager.
“I congratulate our players, we’ve had three massive games and it was an amazing performance,” said Mauricio Pochettino.
