Harvey Elliott reacts to Darwin Nunez’s cryptic message amid Liverpool exit claim

Darwin Nunez remains at the centre of transfer speculation, with rumours circulating about a potential summer exit from Liverpool.

The 25-year-old forward has had a frustrating season at Anfield, continuing to battle for a regular spot in the starting XI under Arne Slot.

Football Insider revealed that Nunez is unhappy at Liverpool, particularly after the club rejected a proposed move to Saudi Arabia in the January transfer window.

Al-Hilal had been willing to pay a substantial sum for his services, but no talks progressed, and the striker remained at Liverpool.

Football Insider also revealed that Nunez is expected to be one of the first players to leave Liverpool at the end of the season, with several clubs lining up to secure his signature.

Having started just one of his last 13 Premier League appearances, Nunez has found himself behind the likes of Diogo Jota and Luis Diaz in the pecking order.

His growing frustration seemed to intensify after he shared a cryptic social media post, which caught the attention of many, including his teammates.

Atletico Madrid and Saudi clubs show interest in Darwin Nunez amid Liverpool uncertainty

Nunez shared an AI-produced video showcasing some of his highlights, accompanied by the caption: “It’s not about how many times I fall. It’s about how many times I rise.”

The post quickly received support from his teammates, with Harvey Elliott, Alexis Mac Allister, and Andy Robertson all liking the message.

Atletico Madrid have emerged as the latest club linked with Nunez, adding to the growing speculation surrounding his future at Liverpool.

Liverpool fans slated the board after it was revealed that the club didn’t accept an offer for Nunez in the January window from Al-Nassr, and since then, the 25-year-old has struggled to make a significant impact on the pitch.

With only seven goals and seven assists in 42 appearances this season, his playing time has been limited, having started just eight Premier League games.

Harvey Elliott could join Darwin Nunez in leaving Liverpool

In addition to Nunez, former Manchester United chief scout Mick Brown told Football Insider that Liverpool will be open to offers for midfielder Harvey Elliott this summer.

Although the club still views Elliott as part of their long-term plans, they could be willing to let him go if a substantial offer comes in.

Newcastle have shown interest in the 22-year-old, and despite his growing role in the first team, Elliott could seek an exit if the right opportunity arises.
