Harvey Elliott sends message to Liverpool ‘brother’ as Anfield exits loom
Harvey Elliott has paid tribute to a Liverpool teammate with both looking set to depart the club in the summer transfer window.
It was a memorable first season under the Reds for Arne Slot as they stormed to the Premier League title, although things were more difficult for Elliott from a personal perspective.
The winger started just two Premier League games across the course of the campaign, and has already hinted he is ready to move on in order to avoid spending the best years of his career on the bench.
As a result there has been plenty of interest in the 22-year-old, and Football Insider understands Fulham are keen to re-sign Elliott from Liverpool.
However, the winger is not the only player who looks set to complete a departure from Anfield in the coming weeks.

Jarell Quansah and Harvey Elliott star for England Under-21s
As clubs step up their business in the market, Bayer Leverkusen are closing in on the signing of Jarell Quansah from Liverpool, with the centre-back also struggling for game time last season.
While the duo wait to see their futures decided, both have been in action elsewhere recently, where they have caught the eye.
On Wednesday (25 June), Elliott and Quansah both started for England Under-21s as they beat the Netherlands 2-1 in the semi finals of Euro 2025.
That ensures they will get the chance to defend their title in the final on Saturday (28 June), with a brace from Elliott proving decisive against the Dutch.
Taking to Instagram to reflect on that success, Quansah was unsurprisingly delighted as he emphatically sent a message that simply read: “EURO FINALIST”
In response, Elliott showed his affection for his fellow Liverpool star, commenting on the post with the words “my brother”, along with a loveheart emoji.
Liverpool exits sad but necessary
Football Insider Verdict
It will be a shame for those connected with the Reds to see the likes of Elliott and Quansah depart, given both have enjoyed impressive breakthroughs into the first-team in recent years.
However, some unconvincing wins late in the season showed there is a need to strengthen the squad this summer if they are to build on this Premier League title success.
Liverpool have already spent big and show little sign of stopping as they look to do that, which means others will have to be moved on to make space in the squad and budget for those additions.
Given they find themselves on the fringes of the side, Elliott and Quansah are obvious candidates to be moved on, since it will boost their own careers with more game time as well.
Before that though, the Liverpool pair will have to be fully focused on a huge game with England come this weekend.
