Harvey Elliott sends stunned Liverpool response after fans destroy him
Harvey Elliott has responded to supporters after facing criticism despite Liverpool sealing the Premier League title.
Liverpool were officially crowned Premier League champions after a dominant 5-1 victory over Tottenham at Anfield.
Mohamed Salah continued his superb form by getting on the scoresheet, with Luis Diaz, Alexis Mac Allister and Cody Gakpo also finding the net, alongside an own goal from Destiny Udogie to complete a comprehensive win.
Elliott was introduced from the bench for the final 14 minutes, as all of his appearances this season have come in Premier League matches.
However, Elliott drew criticism from rival supporters, as the versatile midfielder attempted a nutmeg during a challenge against Richarlison.
Amid the backlash and growing speculation around his future, he sent a clear message to the supporters, reinforcing his commitment to the club despite the incident.

Harvey Elliott could leave Liverpool amid concerns over game time
The 22-year-old had a message for fans after Liverpool secured their title win, posting: “Wow!! Premier League champions again… Minister of Enjoyment.”
He received plenty of support from his teammates, with Ryan Gravenberch replying with a heart emoji, while Darwin Nunez, Luis Diaz and Mac Allister all showed their appreciation by liking the post.
Despite the celebrations, Elliott has struggled to establish himself under Arne Slot, having not started a single Premier League match this season.
Football Insider revealed that Elliott is attracting interest from several Premier League clubs, with the youngster open to leaving Anfield in search of more regular playing time.
It was previously reported on 21 March by Football Insider that Elliott has been left frustrated with his limited role since Slot’s arrival and would consider a move away from Liverpool this summer.

Luis Diaz also faces uncertain future at Liverpool ahead of summer changes
Despite the strong bond within the squad, Diaz has also been linked with a potential move away during the upcoming transfer window.
Liverpool are set to hold talks with Diaz, but both Barcelona and several Saudi Pro League clubs are monitoring his situation closely.
The club have been relatively quiet in the transfer market since Slot’s appointment, but they are now prepared to back the manager this summer.
Raising funds through the possible sales of players like Diaz and Elliott could be key to reshaping the squad for the next campaign.
