Hearts fans in love with ‘outstanding’ star who produced a ‘masterclass’ in win vs St Mirren

Hearts took another big step towards the Scottish Premiership title on Wednesday as they beat St Mirren 2-0 to go six points clear at the top.

Multiple players will take the headlines for the performance as Hearts won their second game within a week down to 10 players.

Lawerance Shankland was once again outstanding for Hearts, with the captain netting the opener.

However, fans were quick to praise Pierre Landry Kabore for his late display off the bench as the Jambos saw out the three points.

Hearts fans praise ‘outstanding’ Pierre Landry Kabore display

With Hearts battling for the Scottish Premiership title this season, every player has to be at their best if they are to achieve this incredible upset.

This includes the substitutes, with Kabore coming onto the pitch in the 67th minute for the hosts.

Despite signing in the summer, the Burkina Faso international has struggled for regular starts this campaign. However, on Wednesday, he showed Tynecastle exactly what qualities he possesses.

The attacker helped the hosts win numerous free kicks late in the game and was a constant nuisance to St Mirren as the visitors looked to find a way back into the game.

As a result, Hearts fans were quick to take to X at full-time to praise Kabore’s display, with some even labelling him as the man of the match.

How good was Kabore in Hearts’ 2-0 win vs St Mirren?

According to Fotmob on 14 January, Kabore had a great cameo against St Mirren.

The attacker produced five recoveries, won three fouls and even won three ground duels.

This is despite the attacker only being on the pitch for just 23 minutes as McInnes looked to kill the game off.

Therefore, if Kabore can keep these displays up, there is no reason why he can’t pick up more starts before the end of the season.

Hopefully, Derek McInnes will have kept note of his performance and look to award the attacker on the weekend with a start against Falkirk in the Scottish Cup.
