‘He’s on the list’ – Premier League clubs race to land Brendan Rodgers after Celtic latest
Brendan Rodgers remains at the top of Premier League clubs’ wish list with no advances on contract talks with Celtic.
Sources told Football Insider that Rodgers is looking likely to leave Celtic at the end of the season following ongoing frustrations with the club hierarchy.
Amid the Northern Irishman’s discontent over a lack of backing in the summer transfer window, Aberdeen’s former chief Keith Wyness exclusively told Football Insider that the Celtic board want full control of the club’s procedures.
This will continue to frustrate Rodgers who will almost certainly leave Celtic at the end of his contract as teams all over Europe monitor his situation.

Rodgers’ success in Premier League hints at likely return to England
As I revealed on the latest edition of Football Insider’s Inside Track podcast, the ex-Liverpool boss will be hot managerial property if he is to leave the Hoops as a free agent.
Sources told Football Insider that Rodgers is being lined up by Premier League clubs who would greatly benefit from his coaching expertise.
Speaking on the Inside Track podcast, I explained: “If Brendan Rodgers becomes a free agent in the summer, if he doesn’t sign a new contract at Celtic, there’s no doubt there will be interest in him.
“He’s had success pretty much anywhere, everywhere he’s been. He almost led Liverpool to the Premier League title.

“He went up to Celtic and had a lot of success winning trophies before coming back down to the Premier League with Leicester where he won the FA Cup and had them playing in European football as well.
“So, he’s a top manager. There’s no getting away from that.
“Any clubs looking for a new manager and Brendan Rodgers is available, you will definitely figure on the list of some clubs. So that wouldn’t surprise me at all.”
Nottingham Forest must open pre-contract talks with Rodgers amid Ange Postecoglou disaster
Sources told Football Insider on 17 October that Ange Postecoglou must win his next four matches to avoid being sacked.

The former Tottenham boss has embarked on a winless run since he arrived at Nottingham Forest and owner Evangelos Marinakis is losing patience.
The Greek will be aware of Rodgers’ track record in the English top-flight and current contract situation at Celtic Park.
Therefore, the Garibaldi will be one of the leading parties vying for his signature come the end of his current deal in Glasgow at the end of the season.
