How much Bukayo Saka will earn on new Arsenal contract as agreement struck for ‘unbelievable’ star
Bukayo Saka is set to become Arsenal’s highest-paid player after putting pen to paper on a new five-year contract.
According to BBC Sport, the winger is set to earn wages in excess of £300,000 per week after striking an agreement that will see him under contract until 2031.
Arsenal have been keen to extend the 24-year-old’s contract, which was due to expire in the summer of 2027.
Saka has been with the Gunners since the age of eight, rising through the academy at Hale End before making his debut in 2018.
In the years since, the forward has made almost 300 appearances, and has been capped 48 times by England.

Bukayo Saka to become Arsenal’s top earner
The very definition of a fan favourite, Saka has scored 77 goals for Arsenal since his breakthrough and is widely considered among the best wingers in world football.
Emerging as a fresh-faced teenager during the Gunners’ struggles under Unai Emery, the youngster impressed in his first appearances.

The arrival of Mikel Arteta saw Saka deployed as a left-wing-back, where he quickly caught the attention of clubs throughout Europe.
Arsenal worked quickly to tie the winger down, however, and his move to the right of the forward line in the following season saw him explode into life, netting and assisting at an incredible rate.
Injuries in the last two seasons have seen the 24-year-old fall off the pace slightly, but he remains among the Premier League‘s most dangerous players, and he will be key to any major trophy lifted by Arsenal.
Saka’s new contract will see him rise past the likes of Kai Havertz, William Saliba, Viktor Gyokeres and Declan Rice to become the top earner at the Emirates Stadium.
What Mikel Arteta has said about Saka
Saka and Arteta share a deep bond, with the two having played large roles in Arsenal’s transformation over the last five years.
When the Gunners beat West Ham in October, Saka’s second-half penalty saw the winger reach the landmark number of 100 Premier League goal contributions.
It was a special day for Arteta, too, who had managed his 300th game in charge of Arsenal.
“When you look at those numbers, 200 games, 100 goal involvements, I mean it’s unbelievable at his age, what he’s doing,” he said.
“The manner that he’s doing it as well, really impressive. That’s the kind of players that we need to achieve what we want.”
