How West Ham could line up v Man United on 13 August if they sign £20m-rated midfielder
COMMENT By Will Butcher
West Ham fans will have been delighted with their side’s recent transfer activity after the club confirmed deals for three proven Premier League performers this month.
Manchester City goalkeeper Joe Hart has joined the east London outfit on loan for the entire 2017-18 season on loan, after returning to the Etihad following a season with Torino in Italy.
Hart teams up with Pablo Zabaleta who joined on a free from City last month, while big-money moves for Marko Arnautovic and Javier Hernandez have also been completed this month.
Now, it has been reported by the Star that the Hammers have been told by another Premier League club that they must stump up a huge £20million plus add-ons for a 25-year-old midfielder who would transform the team.
If manager Slaven Bilic continues his impressive spending spree with such a deal, then the Hammers would take a mammoth leap towards qualification for the Europa League.
Football Insider analyses how West Ham would line-up if they complete the midfielder signing, as well as including their four completed deals in the side to face United on August 13.
