The Daily Star claims the Hammers are interested in signing the Arsenal ace but will have a huge fee of £20million plus add-ons, after Serie A outfit Sampdoria had an offer of less than half that rejected.
The England international is expected to leave the Emirates Stadium after spending last season with Bournemouth.
Looking to prove both his ability and fitness, a move to West Ham could see both Wilshere and the Hammers profit as he looks to stake a late claim for the England 2018 World Cup squad.
