Howe 'knows who he wants' at Newcastle after source reveal on 'Dubravka upgrade' - pundit
Man United fringe star Dean Henderson would be an upgrade on current Newcastle shot-stopper Martin Dubravka, according to Kevin Campbell.
The former Arsenal hitman, speaking exclusively to Football Insider, insisted new Magpies manager Eddie Howe “knows what he wants” in the January window.
This site exclusively revealed yesterday (November 16th) that Henderson is heading out of Man United in January.
A United source told Football Insider the club will listen to loan offers for the shot-stopper, 24, who is free to line up a move after recent links with Newcastle.
Only Norwich (26) have conceded more goals than the St James’ Park club (24) in the league this season.
Dubravka, who signed for the Magpies in 2018, has missed the start of this season with a foot injury.

Karl Darlow and Freddie Woodman have been rotated in the Slovakian’s absence this term. The pair have shipped 5.7 more goals than expected, according to FBref.
Campbell insisted Howe’s January signings will have to improve the squad at Newcastle as the club settles in for a relegation battle.
“Eddie Howe knows what he wants,” he told Football Insider‘s Dylan Childs.
“No disrespect to anyone at Newcastle, but whoever he brings in will be an upgrade.
“If he wants Henderson, then he will be an upgrade on Dubravka – that’s just how it has to be for Newcastle. Everyone they sign has to improve that squad.”
Newcastle are yet to seal their first win of the season and sit second-bottom in the Premier League.
Eddie Howe will take charge for the first time against Brentford on Saturday.
