‘Huge’ Postecoglou blunder has blown Celtic title tilt and gifted it to Rangers – pundit
Ange Postecoglou may have made a “title-defining” mistake by playing Kyogo Furuhashi as Celtic beat Real Betis.
That’s according to former Leeds United stopper Paddy Kenny, speaking exclusively to Football Insider after the Hoops suffered a “huge blow”.
Furuhashi, 26, went off injured in the first half of Celtic’s dead-rubber clash with Real Betis on Thursday (9 December).

As quoted by Sky Sports (10 December) Ange Postecoglou has admitted he doesn’t know the severity of Furuhashi’s injury.
Kenny claims Celtic are set to struggle in the Premiership with Jota also sidelined through injury.
“It’s a huge blow for them,” Kenny told Football Insider correspondent Ben Wild.
“That’s got to be so frustrating for Celtic fans. That’s another key player gone.
“I said last week they would miss Jota but Furuhashi being there would help to carry the load.
“If he’s out for more than a few weeks that could be a title-defining blow.
“Postecoglou has every right to complain about the schedule but nothing will change.
“Managers complain every year and the league does nothing.
“Celtic need to keep that pace with Rangers and without their two main men, I’m not sure they can.
“I wonder why he was even playing, that was a mistake.”

Celtic are next in action against Mother well on Sunday (12 December).
They remain four points behind Rangers, who they face on New Year’s Day.
