Man United face Liverpool and Chelsea in race for Hugo Ekitike

Meanwhile, United’s pursuit of Ekitike could face major hurdles, with Liverpool and Chelsea also showing strong interest in the Eintracht Frankfurt striker.

Football Insider revealed that Liverpool have already been told that an £80 million bid could be accepted for Ekitike, while Chelsea remain keen on bolstering their attacking options, even after confirming a deal for Liam Delap.

While Delap is currently set to lead the line at Stamford Bridge, Chelsea’s continued activity in the market leaves the door open. Liverpool’s move for Ekitike may also depend on whether they can offload Darwin Nunez this summer.

Should both rivals delay, it could allow United the perfect opportunity to swoop in and make a decisive move for the forward.
