Hutchinson: This quartet better than Kane, Tottenham star must stop doing one thing
Former Everton and Scotland midfielder Don Hutchinson has said that Harry Kane’s all round game is lacking and that there are over a quartet of stars in world football who are better than the England striker.
The 24-year-old equalled Premier League legend Alan Shearer’s 22-year record for the most league goals scored in a calendar year on Saturday, netting a hat trick to secure a 3-0 win over Burnley.
However, despite his impressive exploits in front of goal, Hutchinson believes there are several stars who he would take to the club, after a Spurs fan claimed that he would not swap the England striker for any other player in world football.
He named Neymar, Robert Lewandowski, Lionel Messi and Luis Suarez as players he believes are better than Kane, explaining on his personal Twitter account that they are more well rounded and that the Spurs star needs to stop shooting from “redic” (ridiculous) positions if he wants to be counted among the best in the world.
The Tottenham man has been in exceptional form since breaking into the senior side at the north London club, and has picked up two successive Premier League golden boot awards, with his hat trick at Turf Moor leaving him level at the top of the goal scorers table with Liverpool’s Mo Salah.
In other Tottenham news, this star man is set to miss the club’s clash with Southampton after an official charge.
