Hutton makes ‘definite’ Ryan Kent transfer claim after Rangers source’s update
Alan Hutton is desperate for Ryan Kent to stay at Rangers next season.
Speaking exclusively to Football Insider, the former Gers defender said that if Kent was planning on staying at Ibrox he would have already signed a new contract.
On 2 March, sources told this site that the Light Blues have offered new deals to Kent and Alfredo Morelos and remain in talks with both players.

Their current deals expire in the summer and both are still negotiating with the club over potential extensions.
The Ibrox club are keen to keep hold of both attackers but neither player has made a final decision on whether they will stay in Glasgow.
On 6 March, Football Insider revealed that Leeds United have registered their interest in the 26-year-old and Burnley are also pushing hard for a deal.
Leeds are said to have been in contact with Kent’s camp to discuss their interest.
When asked if Kent and Morelos are waiting to assess their options in the summer before deciding to commit their future to Rangers, Hutton told Football Insider: “It seems to be going that way because if they were going to sign you would have thought they would have done it by now.

“I think Ryan Kent is one that I would definitely like to see stay, I think he has got a lot to offer moving forward.
“You look at the profile of the player that the manager wants to bring in, I think he suits that as well and is of a good age.
