Hutton: ‘Unhappy’ Rangers senior stars tipped to leave after Bacuna deal
Rangers could green light loan moves for “a couple” of midfielders before next week’s transfer deadline, according to Alan Hutton.
The former Gers defender, who was speaking exclusively to Football Insider, suggested Steven Gerrard could struggle to keep everyone happy due to the vast number of players at his disposal.
Rangers confirmed Juninho Bacuna’s arrival on Thursday (August 19th) to make it nine central midfield options at Ibrox.

Three have arrived during this window alone in Bacuna, John Lundstram and Nnamdi Ofoborh.
They join Steven Davis, Joe Aribo, Ryan Jack, Scott Arfield, Ianis Hagi and Glen Kamara as midfield options at the Gers.
Manager Gerrard often utilises a 4-3-3 formation, so is spoilt for choice when filling the three midfield spots.
Hutton believes that loan departures are necessary to maintaining harmony within the bloated midfield ranks.
“That’s the hard thing that will land at Steven Gerrard’s door – having to deal with all of those players,” he told Football Insider‘s Russell Edge.
“There are nine players in those midfield positions, you can’t keep all of them happy.
“We could see a couple go out on loan before the window shuts. That’s a possibility.
“Gerrard obviously brought Bacuna in, he felt he needed him as an option.
“The biggest problem he will have is keeping everyone happy.”
Rangers play two significant games in the space of four days this week.

First, they travel to Alashkert for the second leg of their Europa League qualifier on Thursday.
They are then set to face Celtic at home in the first Glasgow derby of the season.
In other news, Noel Whelan has tipped this Rangers man to sign for Everton.
