Paul Robinson has claimed he can see Liverpool signing Adama Traore even if Sadio Mane and Mohamed Salah stay next season.

The former Leeds United goalkeeper, speaking exclusively to Football Insider correspondent Dylan Childs, has been blown away by the "unbelievable" development of the 24-year-old this season for Wolves.

The Premier League leaders are considering potential wide targets in the eventuality Mane, a target for Real Madrid, orSalah were to leave the club.

Robinson suggested the La Masia graduate may be the most improved player the Premier League has ever seen.

"I think it is somebody Liverpool will be looking at anyway," he told Football Insider.

"Traore has had an outstanding season. I do not think anybody has improved in the Premier League like he has - so visibly.

"From running down blind alleys with no end product to scoring goals, finding intelligent passes and consistently delivering end product with his unbelievable speed. He is causing defenders all sorts of problems. Nobody knows whether to drop off or come tight because either way he gets past you.

"His development as a player and an athlete has been great to watch. I can see Liverpool signing him."

Traore has three years remaining on his contract at Molineux having arrived from Middlesborough in 2018 for £18million.

The Spanish attacker has scored six goals and provided 10 assists in 43 appearances this campaign.

It represents a significant improvement of last season's figures of one goal and three assists with 9 Premier League games still to play.
