I can’t believe what Arteta said before Arsenal clash – pundit
Frank McAvennie insists words will not save Mikel Arteta if his Arsenal side continues to lose games.
The former West Ham striker, speaking exclusively to Football Insider, reacted to recent comments from the Gunners boss.
Speaking to Sky Sports ahead of Arsenal’s clash with Chelsea on Sunday, Arteta insisted it is clear to see “what Arsenal are trying to do”.

His side went on to lose 2-0, the same scoreline from one week earlier as Arsenal lost to Brentford.
This means the Gunners have failed to score this season and Arteta has come in for criticism from some areas of the fanbase.
McAvennie has told Arteta that football is a results-based game that and he needs to start picking up wins quickly.
“He said you are blind if you can’t see what he’s doing or something like that,” McAvennie told Football Insider correspondent Ben Wild.
“What’s he talking about? Football is a results game and I can see perfectly well that they are getting beaten every week.”What’s he talking about?
“It doesn’t matter what you say, there are a lot of good talkers out there and Arteta isn’t one of them.
“Personally, I don’t see what he’s trying to do. I don’t know if the fans can, they have been awful this season.
“He can say everything he wants but at the end of the day, you have to win games.
“It’s Manchester City next, I don’t think that will end well for Arsenal.”

The Gunners travel to Manchester City next weekend.
However, Arteta faces another test against West Brom in the Carabao Cup on Tuesday.
In other news, Arsenal slammed as ‘nothing short of a disgrace’ and Tony Adams must be appalled – pundit.
