Ibrahima Konate directed a message to Alexis Mac Allister following Liverpool’s commanding win over Newcastle, despite ongoing speculation about his future at the club.
Liverpool secured a comfortable 2-0 victory at Anfield on 26 February, extending their lead at the top of the Premier League to 13 points.
Dominik Szoboszlai set the tone early, scoring just 11 minutes in, before Mac Allister sealed the win with a second-half goal.
Konate partnered Virgil van Dijk at the heart of the defence, delivering another dominant display as the Reds kept a clean sheet.

The goal scorer responded in the comments with “My brother” while Van Dijk also reacted with emojis. Other teammates, including Harvey Elliott and Curtis Jones, showed their appreciation by liking the post.
Konate has been a key player for Arne Slot’s side this season, making 30 appearances across all competitions, scoring twice and providing two assists in 2,355 minutes of game time.

Liverpool under pressure to secure Konate’s future amid Real Madrid and PSG interest
As well as interest from Real Madrid, PSG are also keeping tabs on Konate, with the defender yet to agree a new contract with Liverpool.
The Reds are already working on extensions for Van Dijk, Mohamed Salah, and Trent Alexander-Arnold, and will be keen to avoid another contract dilemma heading into next season.
While Van Dijk and Salah are close to signing new deals at Liverpool, the same can’t be said for Konate.
