
Ibrahima Konate sends message to fans after Liverpool development
Liverpool defender Ibrahima Konate took to social media to celebrate reaching the League Cup final after their 4-0 win over Tottenham.
The 25-year-old played the full 90 minutes as Liverpool secured final clash at Wembley with Eddie Howe’s Newcastle on March 16th.

Dominik Szoboszlai capped off a fine performance with a goal to make it 3-0 in the 75th minute before captain Virgil van Dijk rounded off the scoring five minutes later.
Speaking exclusively to Football Insider, former PGMOL chief and ex-FIFA official Keith Hackett believes Van Dijk could have seen red for an incident with Richarlison earlier in the game.

Konate took to Instagram after the win over Tottenham to celebrate the opportunity to earn their second consecutive League Cup title, saying: “Another final with my team! Let’s go!”
