Idrissa Gueye sends Iliman Ndiaye message after latest away from Everton
Iliman Ndiaye and Idrissa Gueye have both been central to Everton’s progress under David Moyes ahead of a transformational summer.
Everton‘s squad is set to undergo plenty of change in the coming weeks as a plethora of players’ contracts head for expiry, with Carlos Alcaraz the only one of last season’s five loanees who will stay put next term.
A further four players’ exits have already been confirmed as Everton prepare to leave Goodison Park this summer, with Asmir Begovic, Abdoulaye Doucoure, Joao Virginia and Ashley Young all set to depart.
Michael Keane, Dominic Calvert-Lewin, Seamus Coleman and Gueye’s futures are yet to be officially decided, though Football Insider revealed on 11 May that Everton are set to offer Gueye a new contract.

Gueye sends ‘starboy’ message to Ndiaye away from Everton
The Blues’ climb away from the Premier League relegation zone under Moyes’ guidance culminated with Gueye being awarded as Everton’s Player of the Year, despite his international team-mate Ndiaye’s form.
Ndiaye ended the season as Everton’s top scorer with nine league goals and 11 in all competitions, and his exuberant style of play has seen the Senegal playmaker become popular with players and fans alike.
Gueye didn’t get off the bench as Senegal drew 1-1 with the Republic of Ireland in Dublin on Friday, but Ndiaye started on the left flank of their front three and posted on Instagram (7 June) in the aftermath.
The 25-year-old’s post was captioned with a Senegalese flag and lion emoji and was liked by a plethora of his Everton teammates, as Gueye left a two-word comment to say: “Skiliii starboy”.
Ndiaye, Gueye central to new-look Everton next season
The Toffees will aim to hit the ground running upon their arrival at the Hill Dickinson Stadium next season, with Moyes set to spearhead a huge rebuild, but Everton still have several players’ contracts to sort out.
Football Insider revealed on 6 June that Calvert-Lewin’s future looks increasingly certain to lie away from Everton next season, but out of “DCL”, Keane, Coleman and Gueye, the latter will most likely stay put.
Although he missed out on the Blues’ Player of the Year award, Ndiaye has been the difference-maker for Moyes this season, and Everton will be keen to unearth similar gems this summer after the success he’s had.
