‘I’m not having it’ – Alan Brazil fumes at what Thomas Frank said after PSG vs Tottenham, Ally McCoist disagrees
Alan Brazil and Ally McCoist were in complete disagreement over Thomas Frank after Tottenham were battered by PSG.
Despite taking the lead twice at the Parc des Princes on Wednesday, 26 November, Tottenham fell to a thrilling 5-3 defeat, ultimately being sunk by a Vitinha hat-trick.
Tottenham fans were impressed by Randal Kolo Muani’s performance against his parent club, scoring twice as well as setting up Richarlison, but PSG added goals from Fabian Ruiz and Willian Pacho.
Thomas Frank is under serious pressure in North London, and despite shipping five goals in the Champions League, the former Brentford boss was pleased with what he saw from his players.
Thomas Frank blasted by Alan Brazil for his post-match comments
Having read Frank’s post-match comments, Brazil was taken aback by how calm and collected he was, launching into a rant live on air, but McCoist somewhat jumped to the manager’s rescue.
Speaking live on talkSPORT (27 November, 8:55am), Brazil said: “I have to be honest… I don’t know Thomas Frank, but the way he was saying, ‘Well, that was better,’ what were his words?“
McCoist butted in, saying: “He said it was an improvement after the weekend, and it was,” to which Brazil continued: “They showed a bit of character? It was 5-3! I’m not having it!”

“He seems like a lovely guy, and he’s trying to boost the boys, but in terms of tactics, they were almost non-existent,” the former Tottenham striker later added.
Tottenham hierarchy’s stance on Frank revealed
Supporters are already becoming restless with the new manager, despite a much better league standing than what Ange Postecoglou managed before being sacked in North London.
Football Insider understood earlier this month that Frank still has the backing at Tottenham, even with fans making their feelings known before each and every home game.
The Lilywhites have won just three of their last nine games across all competitions, leaving Frank in a difficult predicament, and one that must improve very quickly if he is to avoid getting sacked.
Of course, it is extremely early in his tenure, but with so many changes being made behind the scenes, it is not out of the question that the hierarchy could already be searching for a new manager.
