Insider: Chelsea could agree deal with yet another Brighton man after key development
Graham Potter could bolster his Chelsea medical department by recruiting even more staff from Brighton & Hove Albion.
That is the view of medical expert Ben Dinnery, who runs the Premier Injuries site and has a background in injury and data analysis, speaking exclusively to Football Insider.
The Daily Mail reported last week (16 December) that physiotherapist Jon Fearn was set to leave Chelsea after 13 years of service.

It comes after they lost medical director Dr Paco Biosca and head physio Thierry Laurent back in September.
Potter joined the club from Brighton in the same month and has now brought six members of staff with him.
“You can put a positive spin on it [Fearn’s departure],” Dinnery told Football Insider‘s Connor Whitley.
“Graham Potter can put his own stamp on the club and his backroom team.
“Over the year and season on season, Chelsea have always fared really well with the number of injury incidents. The medical department have been applauded for their work.
“Gradually, it’s a changing of the old guard. Yes, there may be one or two people within the club have grown a really strong affiliation but that’s the nature of the job.
“13 years at one club is a hell of a long time at one club. You wouldn’t expect to see many managers or players get through that. The players and staff will be well used to bringing in new faces.

“It brings an opportunity with it to bring in fresh ideas and somebody who has been handpicked by Potter and he’s worked with before and trusts.
“It’s nothing personal, this is business. They maybe just felt it was the right moment to move on and try a new challenge.”
In other news, there has been a big update on a Chelsea naming rights deal which is less than a Tottenham agreement.
