Insider: Eriksen could return to Tottenham within weeks after four offers tabled
Christian Eriksen could return to Tottenham for a few weeks of training before deciding his next career move.
That is according to Spurs insider John Wenham, who regularly breaks news about the club on his Lilywhite Rose social media channels.
On 17 December, Inter Milan announced they had terminated the contract of Eriksen, 29.

The midfielder had a pacemaker fitted following his collapse at Euro 2020 and it is illegal to play professional football in Italy with the device fitted.
As per The Athletic (27 December), Eriksen’s agent says he has already had offers from four European clubs.
Wenham won’t rule out Eriksen making a return to competitive action with Tottenham but insists that lies in the hands of the Premier League.
“We don’t know the ins and outs of his medical situation,” Wenham told Football Insider correspondent Ben Wild.
“If he’s not allowed to play in Serie A I don’t know why the Premier League would be any different.
“The medical advice in the top leagues is the same I would imagine. I would expect it is a bit different in the Netherlands or somewhere like that.
“If he wanted to come back and he felt that was the right thing to do, we should always have space for him.
“He’s a magician and he’s better than a lot of the players we have.
“Conte obviously knows him. Maybe he could come over and do a couple of weeks training with the club.

“I could see that happening.
“Obviously, it’s a bit step to then signing a contract but who knows.”
