Insider: First of multiple new Tottenham deals to be handed to Oliver Skipp
Oliver Skipp’s new Tottenham contract will keep him at the club until the summer of 2026.
That is according to Spurs insider John Wenham, who regularly breaks news about the club on his Lilywhite Rose social media channels.
As per Football.London on Thusday (17 March), talks over a new deal for Skipp, 21, are “nearing a positive conclusion”.

The midfielder is currently under contract until 2024.
Skipp has been sidelined since early February but has been a key player under Nuno Espirito Santo and Antonio Conte.
Wenham claims Skipp could sign several deals over the next 18 months.
“Nuno loved him, Mourinho loved him, Poch gave him his debut and we have seen Conte speak very highly of him,” Wenham told Football Insider correspondent Ben Wild.
“A new deal is no surprise whatsoever. Tottenham have an incentive-based contract system for their younger players.
“I have said before, when Harry Winks first broke into the first team he was handed something like four new deals in 18 months.
“Kyle Walker-Peters was the same. I believe once you sign one of those deals you move on to the next one based on appearances.
“That new deal will include a one-year extension, better terms and a pay rise.
“Skipp is contracted until 2024 and I imagine the first of these several new deals will keep him tied down until 2026.”

Skipp had made 18 league appearances this season before picking up his injury.
Conte revealed he could be in contention to face Newcastle on 3 April while speaking on Saturday (19 March).
