Insider: Potential Tottenham ‘disaster’ will spark ‘anger on a scale we haven’t seen’ aimed at Levy
Daniel Levy will see “anger on a scale we have not seen” before if Antonio Conte walks away from Tottenham.
That is according to Spurs insider John Wenham, who regularly breaks news about the club on his Lilywhite Rose social media channels.
According to Football.London‘s Alasdair Gold (13 January), players fear the Italian manager could walk in February if he’s not backed in this window.

Spurs are yet to sign any players in the January window despite Conte openly wanting a number of new faces in north London.
If Conte walks, Wenham insists any fans who are on the fence about the club’s ownership and the board would turn on Levy.
“I’ve never known a manager who has united the support like Conte has,” Wenham told Football Insider correspondent Ben Wild.
“With Poch, it was three or four years and a proper journey to get there. With Conte it was immediate.
“The club have done the hard part and replaced the disaster that was Nuno with a top-five-in-the-world manager.
“Now, if the fans feel like he isn’t being backed by Levy, many people who have remained on the fence about the board, there will be anger on a scale we have not seen before, it would be a disater.
“Fabio Paratici deserves huge credit for getting this deal over the line but it needs to go a step further.
“Conte has made it very clear that the squad has limitations but it looks like nothing is happening to get new faces in.

“A top-four finish is still a realistic target this season, if we win all of our games in hand we will go third.
“Getting in the Champions League and what that will bring the club will far outweigh whatever we spend this month.”
In other news, a pundit has claimed Tottenham could seal ‘signing of the summer’ after Sky transfer update.
