Insider: Tottenham working behind-the scenes on ‘£400m super-deal’ – could be agreed ‘tomorrow’
Tottenham are holding out for a “super-deal” over stadium naming rights that could earn them £400million.
That is according to Spurs insider John Wenham, who regularly breaks news about the club on his Lilywhite Rose social media channels.
Tottenham are yet to find a sponsor for their new stadium despite opening its doors in April 2019.

On 23 November, the North London club posted a pre-tax loss of £80.2m as revenues fell from £403.2m to £361.9m in the 12 months ending June 2021.
Selling the naming rights over the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium is an option to help reduce the club’s now £706million debt.
Wenham insists the club could agree a deal tomorrow but are prepared to wait for a mega-deal that could be worth £20million per season.
“We are still waiting on the stadium naming rights deal,” Wenham told Football Insider correspondent Ben Wild.
“That’s massive. We are holding out for a super-deal of something like £20million over 20 years.
“There is £400million straight away. Let’s just keep an eye on that one.
“I know the stadium naming rights thing is going on in the background.
“The club could accept a deal tomorrow, they want this massive deal.
“When it gets sorted and is announced, it will be significant. We have been waiting on it for years.”

Tottenham trousered just £1.9m on matchdays in 2020-21 compared to £94.5m in the previous financial year.
Spurs are next in action against Brentford on Thursday.
