Insider: White 'desperate' to leave Tottenham and could go as early as 1 January
Tottenham could have agreed a loan deal that will see Harvey White leave the club on 1 January.
That is according to Spurs insider John Wenham, who regularly breaks news about the club on his Lilywhite Rose social media channels.
Wenham revealed on 8 October that Tottenham turned down loan offers for White, 20, last summer.
The midfielder has made 12 appearances in the Premier League 2 this season, scoring and assisting four goals.
Wenham insists staying at Tottenham has done White no favours and insists he could leave as soon as the window opens.
“He’s desperate for a loan,” Wenham told Football Insider correspondent Ben Wild.

“I hope Tottenham have something ready to go for 1 January, that’s possible.
“It seems ridiculous to me that when he joined Portsmouth last year and proved himself, he hasn’t gone out again.
“He’s been stuck playing Under 23s football when he could have been out getting more experience.
“I don’t think that’s good enough. He could easily play for a top League One side or a lower Championship side.
“I think he may have stuck around thinking he would get minutes in the COnference League but that just hasn’t happened.
“I think he will go out on loan in January because staying at Tottenham is doing him no favours.”
White has made two senior appearances for Tottenham during his career.
He has also made two appearances for England’s Under 18s.
