It’s ‘game over’ for Aubameyang at Arsenal after development ‘we didn’t see coming’ – pundit
Paddy Kenny claims it is “game over” for Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang at Arsenal after failing to make four consecutive matchday squads.
The former Leeds United stopper, speaking exclusively to Football Insider, insists there is no way back for the striker.
Aubameyang, 32, has not been part of the Arsenal matchday squad during their last four fixtures following a breach of discipline.

The striker was stripped of the Gunners captaincy last week (14 December).
The Athletic reported last Friday (17 December) Aubameyang is training alone and away from the main group.
Kenny insists the striker will be pushing for a January exit.
“It looks like it’s game over for him,” Kenny told Football Insider correspondent Ben Wild.
“It looks like him and Arteta have properly fallen out over this. We didn’t see this coming.
“I didn’t think this would happen when this all started.
“The problem with moving Aubameyang on is that he is on ridiculous wages.
“You need someone to offer that money and I’m not sure anyone will. They just need to get rid of him at any cost.
“He’s hardly set the world on fire this season. I’m sure he wants to go in any case.
“He won’t want to be sat on the bench or not even in the squad when he could be playing somewhere else.
“It’s a very sad end to what has largely been a good career move for him.”

Aubameyang signed a bumper new deal at Arsenal last year which runs until 2023.
The Gabon international has scored four Premier League goals this term.
In other news, pundit is ‘amazed’ by Arsenal player who has told the club he wants to quit next year.
