It’s over now for Dele Alli at Tottenham and there’s no way back – pundit
It’s over for Dele Alli at Tottenham and he must quit now to save his flagging career, according to Danny Mills.
Speaking exclusively to Football Insider, the ex-England and Leeds United defender insisted Dele needs to address a deep issue as he has failed to rediscover his best form under Nuno Espirito Santo.
The Spurs boss recalled the playmaker to the squad for their game against Man United.

His 17-minute cameo was his first appearance for Tottenham in the Premier League since September.
The Athletic reported (October 28) the club are open to letting Dele quit the club in the January transfer window.
Asked whether the former England international should leave the north London club, Mills told Football Insider correspondent Connor Whitley: “Yes, I think he needs a fresh challenge of some description.
“Don’t forget was on fire, he was absolutely outstanding in his younger days, when he first came to Spurs.
“Somehow he needs to rediscover that mojo. That could well be a new club, a new challenge, a new set of fans, whatever it might be, to re-energise himself.
“You can’t just say it was Mourinho, you can’t just say it was Pochettino because it’s happened under Nuno too. It’s been three managers. It’s no longer just the manager’s fault, there’s something else that needs to be addressed.”

Dele won the PFA young player of the year award for the 2015-16 and 2016-17 seasons.
The 25-year-old scored 28 times and provided 18 assists in 70 Premier League games across those two campaigns.
In other news, Tottenham are in talks to sign a ‘high calibre’ midfielder and it will be ‘music to Nuno’s ears’.
