Jack Butland sends message to Cyriel Dessers after Rangers fans savage him

Jack Butland had sent a message to his Rangers teammate Cyriel Dessers following their dominant win against Dundee United on Sunday (26 January).

The Gers had to come back from behind after Sam Dalby gave Dundee United the lead in the 19th minute at Tannadice Park.

Goals from Mohamed Diomande, Robin Propper, and Cyriel Dessers gave Philippe Clement’s team the win, pushing the gap between the two teams in the table.

Rangers are now 13 points ahead of Dundee United in the Scottish Premiership while they continue to put pressure on their Old Firm rivals.

Rangers are 10 points adrift of Celtic after 24 matches, but Brendan Rodgers’ side do boast a game in hand.

The Gers will be back in action on Thursday (30 January) against Union Saint-Gilloise in the Europa League.
