Jack Grealish impressed by his Everton teammates in new message to fans

Everton loanee Jack Grealish dispatched a heartfelt message to supporters after the win over Mansfield Town, with speculation already building around a permanent move.

Everton marked the opening of their new home at Hill Dickinson Stadium in style with a 2-0 victory against Brighton and carried that momentum into the Carabao Cup, where they claimed another 2-0 win over Mansfield.

Carlos Alcaraz and Beto were both on the scoresheet, while Grealish was handed a second consecutive start for the Toffees. Grealish had already impressed against Brighton, producing two assists in a standout display on his debut, and now looks to build fitness.

He joined Everton earlier this month on loan from Manchester City, with an option to buy included in the deal. Talk of a permanent deal has already started to surface, with Football Insider reporting that Grealish would be open to a wage reduction in order to make the switch permanent at the end of the season.

Following the Mansfield victory, the winger shared a message to underline his commitment to Everton for the time being, focusing on helping Moyes’ side build on their strong start.

While speculation continues over a permanent switch to Merseyside, Grealish kept his focus on the present as he reflected on Everton’s win in his latest Instagram story.

The winger shared several photos from the Carabao Cup victory over Mansfield, alongside a caption that read: “Another good performance at our home. Well done boys through to the next round. Looking forward to Saturday already” followed by a heart emoji.

Everton now turn their attention to a league trip to Wolves on 30 August, their final fixture before the international break for World Cup qualifiers.

Meanwhile, Grealish’s form marks a stark contrast to last season, when he endured a frustrating campaign at Manchester City. He started just seven Premier League matches, losing his place in both Pep Guardiola’s side and the England squad.

Now revitalised under Moyes, he has already made an impact at Goodison Park. As reported by Football Insider, the Grealish chose Everton ahead of interest from Newcastle and Tottenham, and his early performances appear to justify that decision.

Everton and Crystal Palace are both monitoring his situation, and Hackney’s stance could give them encouragement to make a move before the window closes.
