‘Jack Grealish is finished’ – fans react to confirmed Man City news

Man City supporters believe that Jack Grealish’s career at the Etihad Stadium is over after Pep Guardiola’s latest comments on his future.

The England international has had a difficult year personally where he has failed to score a single goal for the club which has led to him falling out of the team.

Grealish has featured 16 times for City in the Premier League this season but has only been in the starting lineup for six of those games.

The 29-year-old featured for just six minutes during City’s 4-1 win against West Ham this past Saturday (4 January), which marked his first appearance in the last three fixtures.

However, during the post-match press conference, Guardiola opted to call out the former Aston Villa star.

He said, “Savinho is in better shape and everything than Jack, and that’s why I played Savinho. Do I want the Jack that won the treble? Yeah, I want it, but I try to be honest with myself for that.

“They have to fight. You can say it’s unfair, okay if you think that, then it’s fine. But you have to prove ‘Ok, I’m going to fight with Savinho, to deserve to play in that position,’ every single day, every single week, and every single month.”

Man City fans believe Jack Grealish will be sold

Grealish has been linked with a move to Tottenham in the January transfer window after his struggles this season at the Etihad Stadium.

Supporters now believe that Guardiola is “not a fan” of Grealish’s attitude and that “he’ll be gone” by the summer.
