Jack Grealish: Pundit issues ‘big’ Man City prediction after ‘unbelievable’ reveal

Kevin Campbell has tipped Jack Grealish to “explode” for Man City next season.

Speaking exclusively to Football Insider, the former Arsenal and Everton striker suspects the 26-year-old has been “humbled” by his mega-money move to the Etihad.

Man City signed Grealish from Aston Villa for £100million last August.

Speaking to club media (19 March), the England international admitted his first season in Manchester has been “more difficult” than expected.

Grealish also revealed he’s thoroughly enjoying working under the “unbelievable” Pep Guardiola.

When asked for his assessment of the the attacking midfielder’s season, Campbell told Football Insider‘s Dylan Childs: “Grealish is finding his feet.

“He’s never been in that sort of environment before. He was the main man at Aston Villa. He used to carry the team on his shoulders. Now he is at a club where he sits on the bench and watches sometimes.

“City are perennial winners. There is quality all over the squad. I’m sure it has been a bit of a learning curve for Grealish.

“Next season is going to be a big season. He’s just going to get better and better. We have seen players explode in their second season there so many times.

“Imagine what it is going to be like if he explodes. It is going to be hard to stop City.

“This season has probably humbled him. He is showing traits that he’s starting to get it though.”
