Jack Grealish sends one-word message to Lando Norris as McLaren star wins F1 World Championship
Jack Grealish was full of praise for Formula 1 star Lando Norris after the McLaren driver won the Drivers’ World Championship on Sunday.
A closely-contested season came to its conclusion in Abu Dhabi, with the Englishman’s third-place finish enough to see him become the first McLaren driver to win the championship since Lewis Hamilton in 2008.
Grealish joined Everton on loan in the summer, and has enjoyed a successful season so far himself.
After a spectacular start to the campaign, Grealish was named Premier League player of the month for August.
And in the months since, the England international has continued to prove his worth at the Hill Dickinson Stadium.

Jack Grealish loves Lando Norris’ win
Everton will attempt to sign Grealish permanently from Manchester City, with the loan holding a £50million option to buy.
But with the Citizens keen to offload the winger, the Toffees may well be able to negotiate a lower fee next summer.

Grealish had gone off the boil under Pep Guardiola‘s guidance, and looked just a shadow of the player he earned a reputation for being at Aston Villa.
At Everton, he has rediscovered that form, once again given the free rein to run at defenders at will, winning free-kicks and creating goal-scoring chances.
The England international can look back on the trophies he won at Manchester City with pride, however, including the 2023 Champions League.
Mercedes F1 driver George Russell joined Grealish in a nightclub to celebrate the victory, but it was another British driver who the Everton man was celebrating with on Sunday.
Norris took to social media to share a picture of his world champion hat, to which Grealish simply replied: “Unbelievable”.
Which football team does Norris support?
Norris has said in the past that he is not a big fan of football anymore, but that he did follow two teams when he was growing up.
“I have two,” he said in 2021. “My favourite team growing up was Bristol City because it’s where I grew up, a little bit, and my dad was very good friends with the guy who owned Bristol City.
“Bristol City then, and I feel like people are going to slate me for it, but then it was Man U, but only when [Cristiano] Ronaldo was there. That was the team I supported when Ronaldo was there.”
With the driver marking his first-ever world championship on Sunday, Ruben Amorim‘s Manchester United will hope to harness some of that success for themselves.
