Jadon Sancho set for sensational Man United return if Erik ten Hag sacked
Jadon Sancho could make a sensational return to the Man United squad if manager Erik ten Hag is sacked.
Speaking on the latest edition of Football Insider’s Inside Track podcast, former Tottenham and England goalkeeper Paul Robinson was confident that the on-loan attacker could play for United again if the Dutchman makes a widely expected exit.
Sources have told Football Insider (18 March) that the Red Devils would be willing to accept an appropriate swap deal or loan move for Sancho in the summer.
Sancho was axed from the squad early in the campaign after a high-profile fallout with ten Hag and was subsequently sent back to Borussia Dortmund in January on loan for the remainder of the season.

However, Robinson, who is well-placed in the goings-on at Man United, believes the club could reconsider their stance if a new manager is appointed.
“United have a right to be angry with Sancho,” he told the Insider Track podcast.
“His attitude and application caused the fallout with the manager.
“But there’s a reason they paid that huge fee for him.
“Since he’s been at Man United, he’s been nowhere near the form that got him there.
“He had to go back to Dortmund to relight his career because it went to a standstill.
“But he potentially still has a future at Man United if you look at what he’s doing at Dortmund at the moment.
“If, like a suspect, Erik ten Hag isn’t there next year, you can integrate Sancho back into the squad.”
Ten Hag is under major pressure at Old Trafford amid an underwhelming second season in the dugout.
United’s hierarchy also remains unconvinced, with Football Insider revealing (16 February) that expected new sporting director Dan Ashworth and Sir Jim Ratcliffe do not see him as a long-term boss.
Meanwhile, Sancho has begun to show his best again back in Germany having bagged two goals and two assists in 10 outings in all competitions.
